General
What is Coinfuty?
Coinfuty is a cryptocurrency futures analytics platform. We track derivatives markets across major exchanges and turn them into clear, real-time dashboards: open interest, funding rates, long/short ratios, trading volume, liquidations and price action — for the whole market, for each coin, and for each exchange.
Is Coinfuty free to use?
Yes. All dashboards and coin pages currently available on Coinfuty are free to use, with no account required. If we introduce premium features in the future, the core market data you see today will remain freely accessible.
Do I need an account?
No. Browsing is completely open. Preferences such as your favorite coins are stored locally in your browser, so they persist between visits on the same device without any sign-up.
Which exchanges and coins are covered?
We aggregate futures data from more than a dozen leading derivatives exchanges — including Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, Kraken and others — covering 100+ actively traded coins, with new coins added automatically as their futures markets become significant. The Exchanges page lists per-exchange statistics.
How often is the data updated?
Headline market data (price, open interest, funding, long/short) is refreshed roughly every 10 seconds. Historical charts are built from candles at multiple timeframes and update as each interval closes. Aggregated windows (24h, 7d, 30d…) are recomputed continuously throughout the day.
Data & Metrics
What is open interest (OI)?
Open interest is the total value of all futures contracts that are currently open — positions that have been entered but not yet closed, liquidated or settled. Rising OI alongside a price move suggests new money entering in that direction; falling OI suggests positions being closed. Coinfuty shows OI per coin, per exchange, and aggregated across the whole market.
What is a funding rate?
Perpetual futures have no expiry date, so exchanges use periodic funding payments to keep the contract price anchored to the spot price. When funding is positive, long positions pay shorts (the market is leaning long); when negative, shorts pay longs. Most exchanges settle funding every 8 hours, though some use 4-hour or 1-hour intervals — our tables normalize this so rates are comparable.
What is the aggregated funding rate on the home page?
For each coin we compute an open-interest-weighted average of funding rates across exchanges: exchanges holding more open interest contribute proportionally more to the average. This gives a single representative number for how the whole market is positioned on that coin.
What does accumulated funding mean?
Accumulated funding sums the funding rates over a window (1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year). It approximates what holding a position over that period would have cost — or earned — in funding, and is useful for spotting persistently crowded trades.
What is the long/short ratio?
The long/short ratio compares accounts (or positions) holding longs versus shorts on an exchange. A ratio above 1 means more traders are long than short. We show both the global account ratio and top-trader ratios where exchanges provide them, per coin and per exchange.
What are liquidations?
A liquidation happens when a leveraged position no longer meets its margin requirement and the exchange force-closes it. Large clusters of liquidations often accompany sharp price moves. Coinfuty tracks long and short liquidation volume per coin over multiple time windows.
Why do numbers sometimes differ slightly from an exchange's own site?
Aggregation windows, snapshot timing and contract types (coin-margined vs. stablecoin-margined) can differ between platforms. We aggregate both margin types, exclude exchanges reporting zero values from averages, and timestamp everything in UTC — small differences from any single exchange's own display are expected and normal.
Why is a coin I'm looking for not listed?
We automatically onboard coins once their futures markets show meaningful open interest and trading volume. If a coin has no active futures market — or has just launched — it may not appear yet. It will be picked up automatically as activity grows.
Using Coinfuty
How do I follow specific coins?
Click the star icon next to any coin to add it to your favorites, then use the Show Favorites toggle on the home page to filter the table. Favorites are saved in your browser.
Can I change which columns the tables show?
Yes. Use the Filters menu on the home page to choose metrics and time windows. Every table column can be sorted by clicking its header.
What do the coin detail pages contain?
Each coin has dedicated tabs for overview, open interest, funding rate, long/short ratio, liquidations and volume — with interactive charts, per-exchange breakdown tables, and multiple timeframes from minutes to a full year of history.
