Each bubble on this chart is one perpetual-futures market tracked on Coinfuty. Bubble size is the magnitude of the selected metric and colour is its direction — green for up, red for down. Because size scales with the absolute value, a coin that dropped 40% draws just as much attention as one that pumped 40%, which is exactly what a risk screen should do.
Unlike price-only bubble charts, the Open Interest, Funding and Liquidations tabs expose leverage. A coin that is up 8% on price but up 60% on open interest is being bought with borrowed money, and it shows up here long before it shows up on a spot chart. The Funding tab colours each coin by who is paying to hold — green when longs pay shorts, red when shorts pay longs — and the Liquidations tab sizes bubbles by the dollar value wiped out over the selected window.

Bubble sizes are scaled against the 94th percentile of the field rather than the single largest value, so one extreme outlier cannot flatten every other bubble into the same size. Stablecoins, wrapped assets and tokenized stocks are filtered out, leaving only real crypto perpetual-futures markets.

Most bubble charts only size coins by price change, volume or market cap. This one adds futures-market metrics no other bubble chart shows: open-interest change, funding rates and liquidation totals, aggregated across major derivatives exchanges. That reveals leverage building up in a coin before it is visible in price alone.
Bubbles refresh about every minute while the page is open. The underlying data — prices, open interest and funding — is collected roughly every ten seconds from major futures exchanges; volume and liquidation totals follow each exchange's reporting cycle.
The chart only lists coins with a live perpetual-futures market on the exchanges Coinfuty tracks. Stablecoins, wrapped assets and tokenized stocks are filtered out, and a coin without market-cap data is hidden until its metadata is available.
On the Liquidations tab, bubble size is the total US-dollar value of positions liquidated over the selected window, on a log scale. Colour still shows the price change for the same window, so you can tell at a glance whether longs or shorts were the ones wiped out.
